If I'm remembering right, Australia did the same keeping Bluesky off their ban list but I think they banned themselves anyway....or at least they're STILL unpopular with everyone not full left brain that even as the LAST option they won't be used...
Yeah if you're in the UK and Australia, you're safer giving your kids a VPN to stay on X, YouTube hell even Twitch and their gaming platform than BlueSky or the Darkweb.
It's because Australia passed a law during covid that LEO can use your social media, and the owner of the account is the one that will go to jail for the crime. People aren't paying much attention to that, but legal departments certainly are.
