That is only preaching to the choir. He is trying to save face with the anti-zionists in a desperate attempt to stave off an impeachment after the midterms.
I would put money on it. You can tell this is what is happening because the only thing Trump does to oppose it is talk. He could put an end to it tomorrow if he wanted to.
