Keep in mind many leftists are resentful that they were 'born without consent' and have guilt about their inherent privilege and environmental impact, but are too cowardly to just kill themselves. They might see murder as someone doing them a service, especially if it was committed by a 'trans woman of color', while witnessing racism is just adding further stress on an already unbearable existence.
