Scully is the perfect example of a strong likeable woman that modern day writers can't/won't write.
Every episode feels like a movie. It doesn't have "Netflix Lighting"

Yeah for like the first two seasons the partnership had an underlying tension that he was this former golden boy turned conspiracy weirdo and she was partly being punished partly there to report on him and run him out of the fbi.
