Checked out the latest Synthetic Man vid and saw that the recently released (into early access) Deep Rock Galactic spin-off - Rogue Core - has female dwarves, and they are almost impossibly awful.

It's one thing to force female representation. It's one thing to deliberately uglify your female characters, even. These things? They look like fucking trolls. They are legitimately hard to look at.

The dwarves of DRG were never hot or cute, but they were aesthetically pleasing to the eye - as if crafted by some sort of artist with a modicum of talent. These new, female dwarves aren't just ugly - they're shit. They are the product of an unskilled, untalented person.

And the best part? Because any criticism of ugly female characters is automatically attributed to chuds, and because owning the chuds is always paramount, there is no way to communicate to the devs that these female models are simply bad.

Also, the classes in this game are gender locked. So if you don't want to look at these abominations, then your lobby is locked out of two of five classes.

Also also, I looked up the voice actress for the new female dwarves. She's a fat girl with a cute face. She's exactly what they should have used to model the female dwarves. So once again, western devs can't even give us beauty on par with the IRL source material lol

Oh yeah, the game looks trash. I've sunk hundreds of hours into DRG, and I have no interest in this stupid spinoff.
