Why do people buy remakes of games that practically look the same as the original? I remember an FFVII remake- it looked and played nothing like the PS1. I bet they make new dialogue and cutscenes and etc, too. I can't blame someone for purchasing that. On the flip side: why do people buy games that look exactly the same? What did you GET for your money and time? Why not just dust off the older console and play the OG? If you own the OG why not get a rom for your PC and experience it with save states and other toy features? I dont really get it at all, sometimes I think people just want to consume for the sake of it and that it's like asking a fattie why they don't stop eating high cal, or asking a drug user why he doesnt just substitute his habit with bubblegum.
