Yeah its been going on longer than (most of our) lifetimes, but honestly NOT BY MUCH. This is how they normalize things. If they can do something for a generation, the next generation thinks its always been so. Thats the great lie. Thats why its so important for us to remember history and rebuke this modern ideology
For me, I heard what my elders were saying. I just didn't get it. Only one single person I knew got it when I wanted to talk about what I learned. We realized that's exactly what the elderly who were screaming about current events on the DC Metro had said. By the time you see for yourself it'll be too late.
And, of the people I knew only myself and that one other person were able to recognize that everything they said was going to happen did happen. ( they gentrified an area to flip a district, those people that moved in early 2000's are the ones moving out mad the last year or so)
When everything you see as a kid, every channel, every cartoon, every book erases your history and pushes a "tolerance and acceptance" agenda, you grow up thinking that's how everyone thinks. And then you get stabbed on the subway.
I didn't get the current trend. Brought to you by companies pushing the boundaries while using the buzzword ," disruptor". The analysis of those ciriculims predicted the poor outcomes we see today.
