They are afraid of losing republican support in the US. They know that if the US turns against Israel, then it's over. Also kinda funny, but expected, that the Jews in the US immediately follow Netanyahu's script when the orders come down. They are good little puppets.
Well if you look at the 'Israel first' side, in their eyes they 'won' with a diminished Iran, Hezbola and Hamas so if they need to go without US 'aid' for a while to not completely cut off that link, they can do that..
..unfortunately from what I'm seeing in Lebanon, Israel REALLY has no counter to drones like they are giving shotguns to soldiers right now. For all the shit Ukraine gets (rightfully mostly) they really mastered drone warfare to the point the Russian victory day parade had no tanks this year.
