"birthing persons" at least means biological females who gave birth, eh? "Mother figures" includes gay men, trans persons or who knows what else. Including "mothers" is a step up though, but followed by 2 steps back!

That is true too, there should be lots of adults in every child's life, all sorts. But the fewer gays the better :/
Meh, most women are grotesquely incompetent as mother. I'd say men would be better at being mothers than 90% of women
