In this video Endymion goes into account on the IGN review on Mouse PI For Hire, and then about halfway through the video goes into IGN's history with bad reviews and then into how IGN has bought out a ton of websites and magazines dealing with gaming, while firing all the veterans who created said media in the first place.

I'm glad I watched a few videos highlighting how it's just more pro-Jewish propaganda, and then promptly removed it from my wishlist.
A shame, because I loved the concept and art-style, but I'm completely done with tolerating any form of Leftist agitprop.
I was more distracted by the generic 3D environmental assets. The devs didn't try to jazz them up with toon textures, cel shading, or anything.
I wouldn't call it a monopoly, because who goes to gaming websites for reviews anymore? I thought everyone got them from social media or youtube videos.
To be fair, nobody watches Cable news anymore under the age of sixty. All those cable news programs are owned by the same couple companies as well.

What? No it doesn't. Ziff Davis, Inc., which owns IGN, is estimated to control about 40% of the gaming journalism market. That's a lot, but it's not a monopoly.
And the video isn't even claiming that IGN is a monopoly. It's just saying that they're pretentious, activist, and don't understand what makes games good in the eyes of gamers.
Fandom is a direct competitor to IGN, and they own GameSpot, Giant Bomb, Metacritic, and GameFAQs.
Future PLC is another competitor, and they've got GamesRadar+, PC Gamer, and Tom's Guide.
