I've seen people talk about the series on here, so FYI it started streaming on Shudder on May 1. It will release episodes every Friday.

I just rewatched season 1 of Tales from the Crypt and afterwards was thinking about the show and how horror has evolved over the years. Then I figured I'd rank the episodes, and it was then when I thought about it, they were full of feminist ideas if you look hard enough (and I did).
And spoiler warning for a 37 year old show.
Every single episode in season 1 has a woman murdering a man. And in only one of those cases do we see her presumably face any kind of punishment for it. Of course the overwhelming majority of characters are assholes or scumbags, so you're not supposed to care that they got killed, but it's still a strange thing to notice.
When she married the fat guy. Haven't watched it in years.
