Is it just me or is it become a huge bummer to even hear Seth Rogen's voice?
His act worked in his twenties, because he was the super-casual stoner guy who was somehow wise beyond his years just by virtue of being the only guy who wasn't a ball of lingering teen angst.
But now it isn't working at all. Now he's just a weird fucking man-child. And hearing him cut a fart for five seconds and declare "that's the sound of freedom" doesn't make him seem like a funny frat boy. It makes him seem like a gross alcoholic uncle.
He was on The Boys last week, and I couldn't help but feel like it was such a bummer to even see him on screen. His persona just doesn't fit well with being middle-aged.
Of course you watch the boys lol
Yeah, it's not a very good show anymore, and it seems to get worse every season, but it's the last one so I might as well finish it.
Seasons 1-2 were pretty cool, though.
