I'm not going to sit around and wait for it to happen, no. I'm taking care of my own. The powerful will do what they will, and the rest of us will suffer their whims. But if history is any guide with regards to a dying republic, a strong man WILL emerge, and the people will be glad for it.
This republic is not dying. You're just willing to let it die and you want cover.
Strong men always emerge. That's why this country is different. It resists them. You're fighting a cabal of evil and not a single individual anyways.
The people are manipulated. I couldn't care less what their emotional state is or is imputed to be under some nonsense reading of the past.
Still sounding pretty limp wristed.
Maybe you're right. Maybe America is different somehow and will defy the pattern of history. I, personally, don't see it.
