They are already doing this. I think they should go further and make it publically available so anyone can search anyone's name and info then get all their searches. Sometimes the best way to combat these sorts of privacy issues is the opposite. Make it damn obvious no one has privacy. Making it publicly available too would help people maintain privacy because they'd be able to easily see if the precautions they've taken to preserve their privacy are actually working.
