So they want to enslave you and put a boot on your throat, and you want to rip out their entrails and blame them for your own violence. Why should I like either group? Seems obvious enough that it's all just assholes all the way down.

And to answer your question, you're already in the former group, up to your neck. Most likely in the coming civil war you'll die trying to shield or shelter the guilty.
The liberals sneer at my "moral equivalency," too. Everyone's so fucking mad that I don't want to pick a fight with a third of the population. Everybody seems to want the 'coming civil war' to happen. Even though, frankly, no one's gonna win it, and whatever survivors are left will emerge malnourished, illiterate, and poisoned by the air and water, in one of the bleakest societies the world has ever seen. Anything other than that is probably just an idiotic fantasy.
No, if the 'coming civil war' really does happen, I'll try to hide underground and eat rats after the rations run out; and I suspect I'll outlive just about everyone I talk to - not that that'll put me in any kind of an envious position.

The left declares that everything that is not of the left must be destroyed for being not of the left.
The right declares that the left must be destroyed because they are transparently evil. We don't care what the middle thinks or does so long as they get out of the way.
But, you will not forestall the justified destruction of the left. Certainly not for nothing more than petty sentimentality.
The left is entirely certain that the right is transparently evil. I've heard all those arguments for years and years. That you're all just raging psychopaths who delight in violence and murder, with no consideration for peace or human dignity.
And here you are talking about literally destroying them all, so it's not like they're completely crazy when they say that stuff, is it?
They call for you to be brought to heel, to be forced to conform, to have your autonomy and your human right to self-expression stripped away from you. They want to make prisoners out of you.
You call for the streets to run red with their blood. You want to make corpses out of them.
It actually does feel almost perfectly morally equivalent. Two groups of assholes, unable to see each other as even human beings, hell-bent on a war that will leave almost nothing good intact.

That's exactly the same thing they're saying. "Why shouldn't we enslave the people who are actively trying to kill us and our families? You think it would be better to just passively be killed?"
Difference is, the enslavement is already in progress, but there are no right wing death squads. At least, not yet, but they are a historical inevitability in the upcoming collapse and civil war.
They would argue that the killing is very much in progress, or at least in the planning phases.
See, they don't actually talk on sites like this, but they sure as shit send journalists out to read them. And those journalists read threads like this and they report back "You were right. They want to kill you all."
And they conclude: "Well then if we don't successfully enslave them, we'll be - how did Kaarous put it - twenty-foot high burning piles of corpses."
