Is that a father-daughter-style story?
I kind of tuned out of the Resident Evil games around Resident Evil 7. Capcom has a tendency of waffling -- trying to appeal to the liberal progressives while still trying to hang onto the traditional audience for actual sales.
Not as explicitly as Ethan in 8, but there are elements (and the fandom predictably squeed over his upgrade to silver fox status)
