Something you do half-heartedly while you sit on VC of your choice. Problems started when hardcores were too hardcore for their own good and decided the game needs to be more difficult because making things difficult is the only way to make things more fun... or so the logic goes. What happens instead is the game changes from RPG to action game with floating numbers.
