I have worked in construction since 94 never have I seen a woman trying to be a professional in the craft side of that industry until 2018. The company I am sub contracting electrical to sent out a new employee who was female I gave her room to work was open to the idea but ultimately she couldn't do basic things like install can light blocking she didn't have the upper body strength to run the screws in. It become a bit of an issue I have had to kindly let all my subs know no women on my jobs.
My point is why now? This is a family company since 1965 we never had to deal with this in the past but now the decorator industry is completely dominated by them and they just want everything to be white and soulless and sterile. And for some reason females think they can stand side by side and dig ditches with men and there not be any social issues on top of that.
