I loved getting gaming magazines in the 90s and early 00s. Stopped getting them when they turned into “women in gaming” every issue or whining about diversity in gaming
It was good that ads tried to be entertaining because there were so many in EGM, particularly around Xmas. It would be, feels like, 2/3 ads, but I guess it paid for all the rest of the glossy print.
