It's sad that their games get so much exposure that should otherwise go to passionate devs who actually make something fun that many people like to play.
I vaguely remember a long time ago there was big hype over some game made by women, and it was just an interactive visual novel with maybe a half hour of actual gameplay and not-terrible-but-ok-artwork. They got invited to game development conferences and everything. The hype was far more about its development than the actual game.
