Stop being selfish. If we enable more home building by slashing zoning and/or other pointless regulations a bunch of existing homeowners would potentially have their illiquid net worths slightly decline. That's not acceptable. Instead we need to normalize 100 year mortgages so you can afford the payments until you die.
