You're a substantial step ahead of most, simply by recognizing that you don't understand this. You could learn. I could give you some good links to get started, but everything about the middle east is complicated and the process couldn't possibly be quick and easy.
Cliff notes version is nobody's in control, and this war is FAR bigger than just US vs Iran. Also, WWIII started many years ago, by any possible measure. It's still small in volume as these things go, fortunately.
I didn't want to get into the weeds. The Sovereign Nation Fund, Blackrock, Rockbridge, China, etc. There are a lot of players here.
