Yeah, arabs are smart enough to build all these desalination plants. But there's also tons of people who aren't smart enough to build desalination plants despite not having access to fresh water sources yet each of them are going to have like 20 kids anyway... And then when there's not enough water to go around, the latter group of people's solution is always going to be just invading other lands and taking the resources there by force. Because from their point of view, they will see no other options.
