The increases is a combination of local state taxes and the price the US conpanies can sell off shore. These wars literally cause the US to become a temporary fuel monopoly to the rest of the world.
Exactly. The U.S. doesnt need outside oil. The us manufacturers decide they can sell OUTSIDE of the us when it suits them to make more money. If they put a giant tarrif on THAT the we would have no increase.
