That was their purpose.
For abandoning their purpose and consorting with muslims to save their politicians, they have forfeited the right to a homeland. No takesies backsies for them.
If they want to prove themselves worthy again, they must kill more muslims and hand over those lands to coptic Christians as atonement for their crimes.
