Iron Lung's main actor, director, and producer were all the same guy, a guy who specifically loved the source material to bits, and beyond that, was responsible, partially, for the source material's rise in popularity in the first place.
I don't recognize this actor. Is he someone who popularized the entire concept of the Backrooms? Might be, I have a bad memory for youtubers. But even though I don't watch nor follow Markiplier, I knew him immediately due to simple osmosis. His personal popularity drove the original source material, and drove the movie adaptation.

Seriously. Not a clue. I'm guessing he's actually some billionaire super-actor, then? I don't follow the latest and greatest hits of Epstein's Lists.
Not a super actor, but a long time establishment actor.
He was the educated black man kidnapped and enslaved by dirty rednecks in 12 Years A Slave. He was also the indoctrinated psychopath sent to kill people to stop them whistleblowing on government attrocities in Serenity.
I didn't mind him in 12 years a slave though that film I'd only watch once, too heavy, could only watch it on a plane flight.
But overall he's a great supporting actor. He can be the main actor but he's good at elevating the other characters near him like in The Martian.
