Fired people all the time for dicking around instead of working, letting their children disrupt calls, etc. Great opportunity for full WFH for generally unskilled people, but too many took it as fuckaround time and not work.

It was always pretty low IQ stuff they were getting caught at, like hanging up calls to browse social media on the company provided computer.
Wasn't everyone, though, we had a core of employees who were pretty sorted out. Sadly I think AI is gonna wipe out the call taker population.
