Apparently, they just wanted her organs, used the police to yank her from her home, placed her in a rapefugee shelter, and when she tried to commit suicide by jumping after getting raped, they had her euthanized.
When put that way, euthanasia isn't dignified. If one feels that they've been so wronged by society (or other reasons) that living isn't worth, needing society's validation or permission is the ultimate insult.
