Option A - pay a living wage to the working class and raise interest rates to control inflation and reduce government borrowing.
Option B - genocide the native people and undermine their quality of life down to 3rd world levels and keep government borrowing high
Government borrowing = government spending.
Government spending = Lined pockets
Of course politicians will pick Option B.
