I wonder how many blacks snigger when white people use the term n-word, while they listen to MC Nigga's latest song, "Nigga Juice" from his latest album "Nigga Basics"
I’ve never understood getting so angry and worked up about hearing the word nigger but listen to music that endlessly repeats it. People choose to let one word control them.
I find the removal of context of it's use to be particularly infantillizing. Someone writing a report about Huck Finn is not the same as trying to insult a black person.
Or that teacher who quoted something and got in trouble. I remember Larry Elder talking about a professor who came under fire for saying “niggardly”. If you want a good laugh go on YouTube and watch young reactors watching blazing saddles and see how they gasp.
But quite a few people have been brainwashed to act like an animal when they hear that word regardless of context. And that one guy actually got off for stabbing a white guy using the “nigger defense” as I call it
