I'm convinced the social media response to AI has given people psychosis. It's total dogshit in motion (rendering this whole affair pointless), but as stills, it absolutely does its job. It even seems to have a good sense of tone, though that might be something the devs did. It made Resident Evil look like promo shots from an RE movie, which is the style the game was going for in that scene. It made Sarah Morgan look like an alcoholic. There's nothing uncanny or weird about it until it actually starts animating, and almost nobody is bitching about that.
