Obviously, I'm skeptical of what politicians promise. But the harder they go, the harder it will be to walk it back. Unlike the MAGA, which will support Chump no matter what he does (and which is why it always will get screwed), they are able to make their pols afraid of them.

I am saying that it would be wise to look at how the left pressures its politicians so that next time, the right isn't left holding the bag like it is right now.

The right doesn't have any politicians to pressure though. Republicans aren't ours. They're Israel's.
True. But Republicans rely on the votes of the right. That's the pressure point. I realize a lot of people, understandably, will say: "Republicans are bad but I have to vote for them because the other side is even worse". But there is no point not using such leverage as you have.
