You're not memeing your way out of this one buddy.
Giving the enemy a stronghold from which to operate is a bad play.
I'd rather eradicate collateral damage by isolating them in a no-go zone, rather than having to fight them interspersed with local housing in a way that puts natives in danger. Block off the no go zone, treat it like the tumor it is, then the excisions can begin without endangering the local peoples.
Not a meme, just good warfare tactics.
Ok so there is at least some thought behind this beyond mindless accelerationism. I can respect that, though I still disagree with allowing them to establish a base of operations. They established a base of operations in Spain and it took centuries to extract them. It really comes down to how likely there is to be a meaningful effort to expel them before they entrench.
Fair enough, the only reason I'd even let them have no go zones was to eradicate the risk of native casualties when retribution begins. But yeah, it's better for everyone not to even let them in in the first place. By the way, I'm well beyond the point of 'deportations'.
Deportations are the moderate/kid gloves option, yes.
