Not to Imp-post but women in the industry have been the single biggest negative. All they've done is #MeToo all the actual talent out and replace it with diversity hiring and Tumblrisms. We didn't gatekeep hard enough against the fake gamer girl.
A woman will never be as strong, as intelligent as a man. It simply will not happen. Sure you can pick that one woman who genuinely made it to Nasa and that one great coder in C++, or that one ceo that turned around that chip maker, but that's one woman out of how many, 1000? 10,000? If you picked 1000 men and 1000 women, you'd have MAYBE one woman that can compete in the top league vs 50-100 men.
Of course, a woman could compensate her weaknesses by hard work. She could study overnight (like the Nasa woman did) or devote all her energy and effort, sacrificing personal life, hobbies, social life (like many men do). But does she really want to do that? For most women, the answer is no.
So if you're never gonna be as smart as a man and work to make and take your spot, what are you going to do? Guilt people into giving you what you want. You're not going to earn it, you're going to guilt people into believing that if you don't treat them as their equals (even though you are not), they should feel bad.
This would like in Naruto if Rock Lee (who can't do ninjitsu) was a girl and instead of training, he simply went "it's because I'm a woman. Women can't be ninjas?" No Dude, it's because you suck at being a ninja (unless you train).
But women are not interested in sacrifice, efforts, devotion. When was the last time you saw a woman REALLY into something? Like spending her nights reading a maths book or programming for 10 hours in a row? It pretty much never happens. Women do not want to make sacrifices to succeed. They don't want to save their income and reduce the doordash, $500 designer bags and all.
So they learned to adapt to their environment to steal power from people who actually earned it. And when men have enough, this is all going to crumble.
A programmer earning $200,000 a year working 80 hours a week won't accept to have his salary reduced to $150,000 while the woman who works maybe 10 hours a day mostly playing with the GUI makes $120,000. It just won't work forever.
