The left doesn't even really believe in the Epstein files as they actually exist, or the underlying conspiracies and crimes they reveal. They might make jokes and give lip service to it, but the Epstein files in their mind are the Trump files; They almost literally consider the two to be the same entity, sharing the guilt of the crimes, and the sole purpose of concealing the files is to protect this fact. All the people involved with Epstein are just tertiary actors, barely worthy of mention, when it was Epstein-Trump who ran the operation. It's basically the adoption of foreign devil myths into their own religion.
