She portrays herself as a whore and I'm sure she is one so that is authentic in a way even if she's a different whore behind close.

It's like how Jack Black plays a fat loser manchild who makes shitty jokes in every movie he's in but I can totally believe he's a fat loser manchild with a cringe sense of humor in real life as well.
