Marry Poppins, Angel and the Bad Man (most john wayne movies in fact), A Christmas Charol (various versions), Robin Hood (Errol Flynn version), arguably every Christopher Reeves Superman, off the top of my head.
Christ metaphors are nice, but not exactly the same thing as loving Christ imo. I can count the movies that portrayed Christianity in a good light on one hand.
Mary Poppins (the movie) was absolute modernist slop. The only one with any sense in the movie is the father and he's ridiculous endlessly for being responsible.
I know about this movie more than you do. I've watched it dozens of times over my life and I've just dissected it myself. I don't need some clickbait slop to tell me how to think about it.
someone posted this video in a different thread and I made a lengthy retort, go see that if you want more.
