it has built in steam workshop intergration so you can add HD textures and high resolution support
gothic 1 2 and 3 (the whole trilogy) is like 2-3$ on various key sites and the content will last you for hundrends of hours
not only replaying the games but also replaying custom full conversion projects (i.e a brand new story campaign made by fans) like Chronicles of Mrytana, Odyssey: In the Service of the King, Legend of Ahssun, Brotherhood - The Way of The Sleeper
there is a shitload of premium fan-dedicated content that is just as good if not BETTER than the original games
and Gothic 3 is essentially a race war simulator between Humans, Niggers (Orcs) sand niggers (Hashshins) which i've played for at least a solid 400 hours with various modpacks who's installation are as simple as typing "Nigger" on a keyboard
