There's something interesting about one of those statements - in their arrogance, they decided to infantilize themselves, while we were supposed to "deal with the real world."

We who can maintain electronic systems, we who can grow crops and tend to livestock. We who can repair toilets and automobiles, can cut them off completely. In the end, they are painting (with Austrian paint) themselves into a corner while they deal with fictional things like the value of a mass-printed currency.
