Both strike me as men who married meh/average women then invested in a relationship only to realize they prefer the company of whores to trad wives. A very common occurrence. Some wives will let their husbands bang whores if he keeps it on the down-lo but they're still obviously hurt by it. I wouldn't want to do this to a woman so I would never marry an average woman for love because I know I'd rather enjoy the company of whores.
Bezos married into a “power couple” relationship. She kept him afloat financially when he was chasing Amazon. Those never work because it’s a marriage of convenience and the convenience always eventually ends.
You could argue the same for Bill and Melinda because he went for one of the few women that was competent at computing technology and came from a family of engineers. Him being a creepy pedo is what killed the relationship because it ended the convenience.
In any event, I'm not sure why you're arguing with me. There are men who truly do prefer whores and have no problems with them. John McAfee anyone? Regardless of your thoughts on Bezos, he's loving his new whore and having fun whereas he definitely wasn't before.
From a purely optimal level if you can find a non-whore who acts a whore for you and also a non-whore for you in all the best ways for both then you've hit the jackpot but no man finds this. It tends to be one or the other. The men who chase the ideal also end up alone in the end so men are forced to pick and choose what works best for them. As long as the men understand what the choices are and the pros/cons for each, then it's all good. Where the problems lie is men trying to make women into something they aren't and women falsely presenting themselves to men as women they aren't.

That’s patently false, hate to break it to you but the “ideal” works out more than it doesnt.
All you're doing is saying any man who isn't like you is "immature" or "deficient" in some way. You're trying to insult men who aren't like you. It's why so many people despise moral grandstanding puritans like yourself. You fail to bother to understand how anyone else can be different with completely different natures to yourself. Not everyone is you and that means what works best for others isn't necessarily what works best for you.
Edit - Let's use basic math. If 50% of people are women and 50% are men, then you say most women are whores. Mathematically not every man will find a non-whore wife. This is a true statement based on what you've said. That means some men are forced to go for whores or no women at all. Understand?
