I did find the concept of all these statistics being around in 1900 quite bizarre. I'm sure there are figures and that they can be compared to some degree but the level of detail for comparison would be vastly different from what we use today.
The FBI only started in 1908 and didn't really get itself together until the mid-1930s. Post World War 2 would be when the data starts being represented properly (Or closer to properly).
Thanks for the link, 2025 is 25% down when compared with 2019 with homicides. Burglaries are down 45%. Those are good numbers.
