I bought a house last year. Was checking it out and spending some time fixing things etc. It had a low smoke detector battery. It drove me so crazy in the few hours there I ended up standing on a totally unsafe folding chair just to be able to reach far enough to shut that damn thing up.

It has to be a low IQ thing or a black thing, because I’d probably be driven directly to the asylum if I just lived with that.
