No one should have blind support for anything. Nothing in life is 100% perfect. Even thought constructs that are perfect for one person, aren't for another. There are demerits and benefits to all actions. One should be as aware as possible to maximize the benefit of themselves, and their constituents. People who are actually blind spend a lot of time and effort to be as aware as possible of everything around them, and every cause and effect they can produce, so in a way, "blind support" is disparaging the actual blind, who'd never be so foolish.
