If a person wants out, especially in the case of disease, I see no reason for them to be denied resources.
They never lacked for them.
What MAID provides is a legal cover to doctors so they can't be sued by any surviving family members.
Prior to this doctors would quietly give you enough Morphine pills to kill yourself and hope for the best professionally.
It's a scheme that has nothing to do with sick and dying people.
You're right, they should be shot in the gut instead. deny them the quick death they desire.

on second reading I think the other guy was suggesting that the people pushing suicide should be shot, not the people killing themselves.
Upon second reading it really does sound like he's mad at the people committing suicide. He's mad at "that rich boomer cunt" who is the one doing it in the commercial.
And upon second reading, and first reading, of what you wrote, you seem to support shooting people in the gut if they want to commit suicide and deny them a fast death.
To which I still ask, to what end?
