If Canada's top politico class keeps moving this hard, this fast, toward blatant China-alignment, they're going to force this from joke to very real. It certainly ups the odds that Alberta might make a real effort to get their butts off the Titanic, and with that example, other provinces might make noises in that direction too, seriously destabilizing Canada as a single Country under unified leadership.
