And why Australia (I believe it was Australia) wrote into their laws that bluesky was EXEMPT from their censorship laws.

Sorry - it was for Australia's age verification law and the way the law is worded bluesky is exempt

She also said the agency was in contact with platforms which did not meet the criteria currently, but which could see an influx of young users trying to circumvent the ban, including Yubo and Bluesky.

But note that Bluesky implemented it anyway.
