I have some normie relatives who belatedly developed TDS from Facebook slop.
The worst part is how emboldened they are to randomly insert their TDS takes unsolicitedly into polite conversation.
If you call them out on their BS, they concede nothing, things get mildly heated then 3rd parties tell you to "stop fighting". Then the very next opportunity, the instigating party starts REEEing about the evil Drumpf spontaneously again.
If you bite your tongue, things go smoother. But you feel like a cuck & they infect all the other NPCs around you with their Facebook TDS agitprop. Which gets swallowed without an ounce of critical thought.
The worst part is that I end up wasting so much social capital defending that Zioshill Trump that I fucking hate for completely different reasons.
This is 100% my experience. I just don't even bother because they sound stupid AF. I roast them a little but mostly just let them rant because everyone else is getting tired of the political sperging.
