Like Lauren's tweet says, even if she hadn't been killed, she could have been arrested and taken from her children. She chose that. Whether or not she panicked before she was killed is not relevant to the argument Lauren is making.
This woman failed her family, intentionally. She prioritized either Somalis or virtue points over the good of her own family. That's a fact.
Don't know if it's true, but people on Twitter (who are critical of this shooting) claim she was in her own neighborhood. I think she did risk her life, but probably for believing her own propaganda that "ICE is Gestapo".

The example I point to is David Merritt, father of Jack Merritt. Even after his deranged leftism got his son stabbed to death by a "reformed" Islamic terrorist, he hasn't changed his tune.
I would argue: publicly. He's getting points for this. His son is gone and isn't coming back even if he denounced Islamic immigration. All his present advocacy does is ensure that others get stabbed by Islamic terrorists, about which he cares not a whit.
