Robert Byrd, grand dragon of the KKK, was Hillary Clinton's mentor, who was Kamala's mentor. The KKK has a storied history of support for the democrats, spanning multiple decades. It would not have been strange for them to support Kamala's bid.

That being said, do you have any evidence to support your claim that they did endorse her?
