It's no a choice, I've never been given any alternatives. only being a leech, a slave, or dead.

I'm constantly trying to find things to do and getting into big fights with my family almost daily. they're already threatening to put me in a group home because of it.
You are not constantly trying to find things to do. You're wasting time on your computer all day and crying to your mommy to find things to do for you.
You probably should be put in a group home to be honest.
